Michael B. Jordan doesn't just surprise and delight on screen.

The Sinners actor was stopped by television personality Celeste Pellegrini for a quick social media video that included one major question sent in by her followers.

"I have a mission that my friends told me. They asked me...how do you smell? Can I smell you?" Pellegrini said while standing next to Jordan in the video, posted on her account April 19.

Unfazed, the Black Panther star, 38, told her "go for it." After giving him a hearty sniff, Pellegrini said, "Smells like vanilla? It is?"

"Little bit," the actor confirmed. Followers in the comments section couldn't help but fawn over Jordan in the video. "You fulfilled everyone's dream, now it's my turn to smell," one fan of the actor commented.

Another user stated they would have given the actor a much cheekier comment. "Nah sis, I would’ve told him 'You smell like the future father of my kids.'" Another commenter jokingly added, "You failed us as Latina, I had to say that I smell the love of my life."

While the Creed III star didn't share the exact fragrance he was wearing, he has previously revealed some of the scents he favors. In 2019, Jordan became the face of Coach for Men and explained why he loved the fragrance.

"I like that it’s just a little bit more earthy," he explained in an interview with Forbes. "When I was a kid, the first time I ever really wore cologne, one of my best friend’s older brother would always have tons ... and I remember dousing myself in it. I gave this girl a hug and she was like, 'You smell so good."

Of Coach for Men, Jordan said that the fragrance is "a little fruitier; it has pineapple notes, black pepper oil and juniper berries, so this one is a little lighter for me, but it also tells a story."

The actor also has a method to how he likes to wear his scents, too. "It’s all about layering, because you don’t want to overpower everything up top. So, you have a base scent that’s always going to be there, that sits on your clothes a little bit, and then you have a top layer that’s more of the introduction to somebody."

Jordan's intoxicating scent might serve as another layer of world-building as he's promoting his new movie, Sinners.

In addition to wearing darker outfits — consisting of blood red pinstripe suits and head-to-toe leather coordinating sets — during the press cycle, he, alongside the rest of the cast, got splashy vampire fang grills to tie into the Southern gothic roots for the April 13 London photo call for the movie.
