Sarah Jessica Parker Turns Heads in Showstopping Corset Gown at “And Just Like That…” Season 3 Photo Call

Parker walked the carpet in another sharp look ahead of the 'Sex and the City' sequel show's third season

Sarah Jessica Parker wore a stunning Vivienne Westwood gown to the photo call for season 3 of And Just Like That... on Wednesday, May 21, at Crane Club in New York City.

Parker, 60, wore a striking navy raw silk gown completed with Vivienne Westwood's signature corset design. She paired the look with silver open-toed shoes and dark silver jewelry. Her blonde hair was styled in a deep side part with loose waves. She completed the look with a beaded clutch and eclectic rings.

The actress posed for photos solo, with her husband Matthew Broderick and with her And Just Like That... costars Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Nicole Ari Parker and Sarita Choudhury. Parker is known for her inventive fashion looks, both onscreen and off.

And Just Like That... is a sequel to the events of the iconic romantic comedy show Sex and the City, which ran on HBO from 1998 to 2004, and the two films that followed.

And Just Like That... picked up in 2021, 11 years after Sex and the City 2, the second feature film released in 2010 that served as an extended conclusion to the original series. And Just Like That... sees some of the original show's characters in middle age as they encounter divorce, the difficulties of raising teenagers, and navigating their evolving sexualities.

And Just Like That... notoriously killed off Carrie Bradshaw's (Parker) longtime on-again-off-again lover turned husband, Mr. Big (Chris Noth), in its first season. The show has since explored Carrie's journey as a widow, and a sex and relationships newspaper columnist navigating the podcast world of the digital age.

Following Big's death, Carrie was reunited with her other famous love – her ex-fiancé Aidan Shaw (John Corbett), now fresh off a divorce. After season 2 ended with the pair moving forward with buying a new townhouse in Gramercy Park together, season 3 will further examine Carrie's role as a potential stepmother to Aidan's children.

"There's nothing like summer in New York City, with its hot days and even hotter nights. Something new and unexpected always awaits," Carrie says in the trailer. "Life is a story we get to write every day, and when the plot twists, we can choose to embrace a new chapter."

"The phrase that I would use for season 3 is 'new.' It’s new everything," showrunner Michael Patrick King teased in an interview with Entertainment Weekly in January.
