Savannah Chrisley and Robert Shiver have decided to call it quits after nearly two years of dating.

During a sneak peek of her podcast episode, which will be released on April 15, 2025, the "Chrisley Knows Best" star confirmed she and Shiver split in early March.

Later, Savannah Chrisley said she was taking the time to "grieve" her loss, considering she believed they would be together forever.

PEOPLE magazine first broke the news about Savannah's podcast episode, in which she will detail the split from Shiver.

"I'm doing a solo [episode] because I feel like there's elephants in the room that clearly need to be addressed," she said in the episode. "I have allowed you guys in on my life and that comes with all the highs and all the lows. I've been figuring out how to navigate this stage of my life because it sucks. It hurts."

Savannah went on to say that she'd been separated from Shiver, whose estranged wife allegedly attempted to have him murdered, since March 6 and needed to take time for herself to truly "grieve" a situation she thought would be forever.

"Not that I'm keeping track of dates or anything, but I have taken a lot of time to process things and truly grieve the loss of the relationship that I thought was gonna be where I was for the rest of my life," she said.

Savannah Chrisley Thought She Was Going To Marry Shiver

During a previous interview, the reality star and former pageant queen opened up about potentially marrying Shiver. At the time, the 27-year-old hinted that she and the former Auburn football player were looking forward to marriage, but for the time being, they were focused on their families.

"I think what I love is that we're not even really focused on that. I feel like it's so easy to get caught up. Society loves to put a timeline on things like, 'Oh, you've been together for two years. You need to get engaged; you need to get married,'" she said.

Savannah also explained that she never felt the need to be over the top with her relationship.

"I feel like, when you're in the right situation, you're in the right relationship, you don't need all these crazy, outward, extravagant things to prove your love for someone," she added.

Before her breakup from Shiver, Savannah admitted she was focusing on raising her two younger siblings, Chloe and Grayson Chrisley.

After their parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to a combined 19-year prison sentence for defrauding banks, Savannah became the legal guardian of her younger siblings.

She's opened up about the pressure she's felt to ensure their happiness and health during their challenging time as a family.

"My mom's always said, 'You're only as happy as your saddest child.' I truly do believe and feel that. So, we want to make sure that his kids and Chloe and Grayson are happy, and healthy and whole. That's our main focus," she explained.

She added, "And then, we come together and we enjoy our time, and we love each other. I just believe that when the timing's right, and when it's supposed to happen, it's going to happen."

Since her parents are away, Savannah admitted she's had to take on more responsibility to take care of Grayson and Chloe.

According to her, she's "struggled" to make things happen, but she's continuing to fight so that she can provide for them.

"I wasn't expecting to get two kids," she stated. "So, between that, legal expenses to fight for my parents, I am just like anyone else out here. Sure, I put a smile on my face. I look the part; I play the part. But it doesn't mean I actually am the part. You fake it till you make it. That's the world that we live in."

Savannah's older brother, Chase Chrisley, was arrested in Georgia in January 2025 after he allegedly slapped a bar manager following a heated altercation.

Days later, the reality star was charged with "simple assault" and booked and released on a $10,000 bond.

Chase discussed the situation after his arrest and claimed the situation was "blown out of proportion." He also said he would've done more than "slap" a person he was arguing with if he had the chance.

"I didn't slap that dude in Atlanta," he said. "That didn't happen. If I was [going to] put my hand on somebody, I would get my money's worth. I wouldn't just get a slap."
